Princess Menea and the Blockhead

"Welcome back, Your Highness."
Princess Menea has returned from her journey with the hero's party to defeat a dragon.
The knight that was escorting her is completely exhausted. The Princess seems a little tired, but looks like a weight has been lifted off her shoulders. The tense aura she had before is completely gone.
That's only natural. She had the fate of an entire country in her hands despite being only a few years older than us.
"Was the dragon taken care of?"
"Yes. Thanks to the hero, we managed to drive the dragon off from the Healing Tree."
"Eh? They didn't kill it?"
"Not even the hero would be able to kill a true dragon."
I ask in surprise and she answers me with an exasperated look. Oh yeah, I remember now. Dragons in this world are like super strong or something.

"--Emergency landing? It's a wonder you're still alive."
As we drink the refreshing tea brought in by the maids, I listen to the Princess's story about the dragon.
Of course, Aoi-chi, the other summoned person, is here as well.
I'd much rather have some coffee from Bustar, but they obviously don't have that here. Also, coffee beans are apparently super expensive, so I hold myself back.
"Indeed, I thought I was done for when I got sent flying out of my seat. However, Satou-sama managed to catch me--"
I've heard that name before.
At first, I had thought it was the Japanese name 'Satou', but the pronunciation is slightly different.
If I remember correctly, Princess Menea's friend was the daughter of a nearby territory's lord. I think her name was 'Kamina' or something?
Satou was the 'Champion Chef' that serves under her, or something like that.
Apparently, he's some amazing person that attained nobility at the age of 15.
"--He even helped repair the airship. Then, he assisted Saga Empire's princess and Shiga Kingdom's 'Heavenly Witch' with the potion making--"
For some reason, the hero stopped getting mentioned and the story is all about this Satou person now.
"--But Satou-sama sometimes lacks a little delicacy. I was talking to him, but he just kept responding half-heartedly. He even dozed off in the middle of the conversation!"
"Yeah, yeah, you're totally right."
The indignant Princess starts talking as if she was a woman mad at her boyfriend, so I voice my agreement.
"Hey, Yui-chan, isn't this...?"
"Yeah, probably."
Aoi-chi seems to have realized it too, and we whisper to each other in agreement. Even the ten-year old Aoi-chi understands, but Princess Menea herself doesn't seem to have realized that she has feelings for Satou-san.

--Princess Menea is still acting strange.
"Jeez, how rude for a mere Chevalier to keep a Princess waiting."
What is she going on about now?
"Did he forget about our promise?"
With an anxious look on her face, she tries to write a letter, then crumples it up and throws it away. Just how much paper is she going to waste like that?
Since I'm basically freeloading off her, I might as well lend her a hand.
"Hey, Your Highness, about this black-haired Satou-san--"
In addition to helping the Princess with her romance, we might even be able to find a way back to Japan.
Even though she looks like she's pouting, the Princess hurriedly gets ready to head out. I watch over her with a grin on my face as I look forward to meeting another potential Japanese person.
