Karina's Melancholy: Evening Party

"Tama and Pochi have it so well."
"What's wrong~?"
"Pochi will listen nanodesu."
Karina-sama begins complaining to Tama and Pochi with a depressed look on her face.
Apparently, Karina-sama was invited to an evening party at Turuut, the next port city that we will be stopping at.
Since I am the lowest level of nobility, I wasn't invited.
Karina-sama is the daughter of a territory lord and Tolma is a member of a viscount house, so they are required to attend.
"What's so bad~?
"Tell Pochi nanodesu."
Tama and Pochi are tapping her on the shoulder and trying to cheer her up.
It's like these two are treating Karina-sama as their little sister.
"...Dancing."
"Spinny spinning thing~?"
"Pochi is best at the torpal axis nanodesu!"
It seems like Pochi meant to say triple axel.
That's probably easy for her given her physical abilities.
"Leave the dancing to Arisa-chan! I'm a master of ballroom dancing, hula dancing, and everything in between! I can even be your yoga coach!"
Arisa was listening to the three's conversation, and offers her help. She looks full of confidence.
I'll just stop her if she tries to teach anything other than ballroom dancing.
"Un, deux, trois! Focus on the rhythm!"
"Like this?"
"Wrong! Straighten your back and don't resist your partner's lead!"
Lulu is acting as Karina-sama's partner.
Since Lulu has the Socializing skill, she's fairly good even when performing the men's part.
"Stoooop! Let's take a little break."
"There's no way I'll be able to dance."
Karina-sama sits down on the deck of the ship and covers her face in embarrassment.
"That's not true. Practice makes perfect. It may be a bit hard to tell, but you've gotten much better than before."
I try to console Karina-sama.
First, she just needs to build her self-confidence.
"Liza, follow my movements."
"Master, I have no dancing experience whatsoever, so..."
"Don't worry."
I take Liza's hand and begin dancing with her.
With the help of my maxed out Socializing, Dancing, and Teaching skills, Liza quickly gets the hang of it.
"Now it's your turn, Karina-sama."
As the song ends, I invite Karina-sama for the next dance. Liza looks a bit dazed as I let go of her hands.
Karina-sama looks anxious as she reaches out with her delicate hands.
Our hands touch, and the next moment, her face goes completely red.
"I-I can't!!"
Not being able to handle the embarrassment, Karina-sama dashes off to the other side of the deck.
It seems what she actually needed was to build up her tolerance for men.
